if you have paid to have the job done properly ie no cash deals deals, mates rates etc then it it should be sorted out asap at no cost.
if you are not satisfied with the solutions on offer then I would be off to see a solicitor & not considering breaking it.

My painter would repaint streight away, If he couldnt then he would ask me to wait, If i couldnt wait he would refund me the money im out of pocket.
If you pay for a service and the service is not upto the required standard then you should pay again should you?

Build it, go round europe in it or whatever your doing, then come back to it in the summer and have it redone when the time is right.
Your going to end up with stonechips left right and center anyway if you really do plan to tour round europe in it.

At least if you go with this paint job, you can think 'feck it' when you hear stones bouncing off your bumper, bonnet and wings.

I would be embarrassed explaining to foreign dudes that the textured finished isn't the latest craze in the UK!!
This is what we are talking about, and no its not rain!!!:

Sorry to hear this Martin.
As you know this is exactly what happened to my paint job and mine was done by the company that did all the demo Spyker cars, had massive Toyota and Triumph contracts so it can happen to anyone.
Its not a good position to be in as i have been quoted Ł2500 to get mine sorted as the company has gone bust and what makes it worse is i cannot really afford to have it done again.
Maybe we could get a cheaper deal off someone for getting both cars done?
Good luck with it mate, think you should stick with it as after all it was one of your wedding cars and has i would assume sentimental value

oh dear! not good
I would not be happy either, it so disheartening when you want it to be so nice, trouble is now you have lost heart in it and you will never have the same feelings for the car!
so all in all I would say break it or get rid as is...
you will never have the same pride in it now

in my 10 years of painting i have only had this once and that was with a certain brand of paint that for some reason was a different mix ratio to all others i have used.. ie, i think it contained too much solvent and got trapped, hence solvent pop.. If Jacko painted the car more than once in the time he had it this is going to happen anyway as it can take up to 30 days for solvent to escape from a 30 micron thick layer of paint! and thats if it is a fast solvent that was used! if its a slow thinner, then even longer..
It deffo would not have to go back to bare metal! only down to the first layer of base that was applied...
