dont want to sound funny but why cosworth in a series one just aint worth it, the series one is a special car and think its a waste, just my opinion

It was never a series one so he isn't chopping one to make the car
Then again if the only clean shell he could find was a s1 then it still would have been choped up

yes i have been in a cossie, in fact have owned 3 saffs and a series one, loved all of them but the series one is special, cossie are 2 to a penny and allways going wrong, i spent 10 grand on my cossie and all for nothing some tosser nicked it and burnt it out, wheres the justice in that !!!!

oh and as for the 200sx rear end do it!!! looks a simple conversion and a fully adjustable rose joint set up can be put together for peanuts

I know its a completly different car but im running soild beam and diff mounts on my saph with coil overs!!! n to be fair i think danny slightly over egging it a little yes its noisy, but aprat from that its not a million miles away from polly bush!!!
oh and as for the 200sx rear end do it!!! looks a simple conversion and a fully adjustable rose joint set up can be put together for peanuts

The conversion is so worth it especially when its being built to such a high standard!!
This is a car that should of been built in my eyes as its an awesome classic look with all the cossies traits..
I loves s1s but when you drive one they are shite fwd crash bang wallop piles of shit but still look cool so as said in my eyes this is an awesome classic that will have the awesome feel of a savage cossie!!
Dont worry about the rear end beef if it pisses you off to much il buy it of you!!?lol

series 1, i had for my first real car bought by me, bought the same car 13 years later and i'm doing the same as me ole mukka beefy......cutting it to bits to put a cossy in!! hehe get the gringder out beefy, cut something else of it to really annoy him!!!!

If you think you can compare that rear end with a car with coilovers youre having a laugh...!!
Any solid mounted rear end is herendous on the road..
I know its a performance car but tbf you really need to make your mind up what this car is going to be??
I thought you wanted a nice fast road car ie interior fast and plesant to drive??
You can have all that but then youve just about welded the diff to the car!!lol
After all the underside is a cosworth and when i had just a solid mounted beam and diff mount in my rs500 i bought from martin johnston i hated it and it lasted 3 days before it was gone...
The only problem you have with your set up is the car has been fabricated for the cradle so will be staying!!imo that means make the rest of the car suit and go race/track spec..I guarantee thats what your car will end up like..
As i said above though the fab and all the work is top notch and i cant wait to see it done mate but you will say to me when it is done your fucking right!!!

How does the diff mount??
My escos was on a square beam mag arms etc and believe me when i took that on the road it was stupid!!

ok folks , lil update
going to give the floor another day to fully dry the primer , seemed a lil soft when we went to flat it today ,
so instead we got on with painting the inside top half of the car instead , actually worked out a lil better i think as allowed k to get in the car to hit all the lil areas

upon asking whats up there the manager said , " ohh some old stock we dug out of a shop we cloesed , tis all for sale "

at which point i spun round like a fucking ninja and said " what headlights "
the conversation then went like this
spesh - " them gen lucas ones there fatty "
manager - " here you go , there Ł30 + vat each
beef - " you having a fucking laugh fella "
manager " make me an offer ??"
beef - " 20 quid "
manager - " serious offers please fella "
beef -" ohh im serious mate , 20 quid cash and seeing as im the only fucker daft enough to still own a mk three in boro , if you dont want it they be up on that shelf a long fucking time

beef - why didnt you paint the full inside first then apply the sound deadening? so it all had a coat of paint? are the front pads masked up?
