I know it's been beaten to death on here but a car of this quality (with a full leather interior and you in it) really deserves a V8...Surely mr. Hadland's Firenza has gotten you wondering again
(being full alloy it doesn't even weigh that much as far as handling concerns go) Top job on Special K's part and the best to both of ya's from freezing cold Romania!

If it helps beef. I dont like v8. mates always buying and selling corvetts and i dont think they are as quick as my cossie. unless your talking about the c5's and 6's. he had a supercharged 5.7 c5 not long ago and it was fucking quick. I stand firm though. ford power all the way, hopefully in a 4 cylinder variety. have you defffo decided on yb power? What about buying fudgeys engine and mounts, that was designed to fit a sierra so should drop straight in yours if you used all the sierra bits. worth thinking about if you haven't already got something sorted

thanks for the comments guys ,
podaru , ive considered the v8 route alot belive me , but that wasnt the original design brief , it was to be the best mk3 cossie out there , in all disciplines after all theres no way i can compete with outright power as wennys most certainly kicked mine and half the sites asses with his new engine lol , but theres more to a car than outright power
its getting a yb , then maybe a year down the line id sell the yb and go v8 ,
deffo as much as im a die hard ford nut wouldnt go the modular v8 route , your talking needing something like a dart alloy block and crank just to get on par with the weight of a gm - ls series engine , then theres the heads ect just makes sense to go the ls route , im not a fan of 32v v8's
its a avenue i can look at to evolve the car in the future , the amount of ideas me and k have at the moment for small touches to make it diffrent , everyday in the garage is 1 big thinktank , constatnly throwing ideas around ect ,
got a few snaps to update this eve hopefully ( aint got my lead at the moment )
front panels fitted as are the doors , and some bits been painted![Big Grin](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)
ohh and just to say , u know how much a perfectionist k is when he busts out vernier calipers to check door gaps !!!!!!
beef . k and g
