Beefy those wheels are amazing mate, I reckon they will look awsome on the escort after a lot of fiddling to get them to fit (it's a shame they won't be going on).

Ohhh yeah, seriously lots left to do yet mate but it is coming along nicely.
It is a real shame that the mk4 shell was so bad but look at it this way, the shell that you are building now will be a real gem once it is done and exactly as you want it which makes it even better does it not.
I love the project and I have to say, credit is due to all involved mate and it iss good to see someone with people who are prepared to help and get stuck in when needed

You could go retro and fit the wheels off the sierra mate, that would be seriously cool

deffo mate , im not a super comptent welder , im not a fabricator ect ect ,

but i have the luck of with karl not only being all of the above hes all so me best mate ,

so where alot of folk would wanting left to the own devices ,he takes time out to show me stuff, how to make up templates ,what to factor in ,why he does things that way rather than another ect ect ect ,

and his eye for detail and doing a job right is second to none ,

so where to some it may come accross im building it meself lol im not , im helping , but least i can say ive been invloved, and i know every aspect of the build

it takes as long as it takes, to be 100% right

although i dont see it taking for years , the aim is to have the niggly bits fitted up and mocked and the thing rolling for central day ,

but ill accept charitable donations to keet it built quicker lol !!!

It's not so much the size of the wheels it's the offset - they're very much a rwd offset (the outer rims are 6") so wouldn't go near Beefy's unless he had serioulsly wide arch extensions. The wheels were halfway in the engine bay on that shot

Not that he's got a chance of getting em anyway they belong on my Mk1
