Has anyone got any suspension modeling software beefy can use?
Something we were talking about last night.

Let me know when it's up in the air and I'll pop over.

remember reading somewhere that metallic paint settles differently and gets a different hue depending on the position of the panels on the car hence the body kit having to be painted while positioned vertically and things like hoods, tailgates and spoilers horizontally etc. If you do that it should fit perfect with the rest...not personal experience though so don't hold me to it
Crackin work lads, looking forward to seeing that lovely interior in paint!

could make a massive difference i think, amount of paint used, different laqure, different primer, different thinners, painters diffwent waynhe does things etc

you want it painting all the same time by the same person and gun imo mate

i would deffo get it painted all together even slight things like room temperature and humidity can affect the colour of the paint it may only be slight but will be noticable on such a large part of the car as the kit

ok folks small update

sunday eve me and k made a start on fitting the kit

a nice flush fit to the quarters ,

then a quick pop in tonight revealed spsh had fitted up the other side

drivers sides stiched in postion , we were short on steel rivnuts so more arriving in the morning

anyone got some close up pics of the fit of there s1 kit , particularly the front bib to arch areas ,

not 100% happy with the fit ,

i know they wont be flawless but im trying to gauge whats acceptable

ohh and regards the painting of the kit issue noted by a few peeps,

spoke to gaz , he agreed theres the possability of a colour diffrence ,

so to avoid the risk , spesh will prep the kit ,

gaz will paint in booth with car

happy days

beef !!

Stunning, the sort of build i would one day love to take on / acheive.
Massive credit due to all those involved.

Does it matter if the front arches are cut back? Will you not need some clearance for your wheels?

Gary.

eeeeeeeeeeeeeeevening all

just a lil update ,

spoiler now fitted , stu collins sorting me a drivers front arch so just a passenger one needed and a full set of caps !!!

got the interior cleaned out tonight so we can start cleaning and prepping for interior paint , may see some colour by thurs if ya lucky lol

thanks for all the positive comments,

cars getting a full interior , cos front seats , mk 4 rear bench , fully retrimmed

hoping the rims will clear , i dont want to cut the arches , considering dropping to 17s to aid clearance , will see how the mockups look when we get the suspension and rear end in ,
