it'd be a travesty to drop down to 17's after all the work you guys have put in fitting it out for 18's over not cutting the plastic arches beef

not nessacarily dojj ,

18s were to fill the arches ,

i would still go 9 -9.5 rears and 8 fronts regardless of 17s or 18s ,

as said , think with will boild down to offset and tyre profile

not a big deal right now ,

update folks - 28-11-2011

as said , been working on prepping the insde of the car for primer ect ,

few pics ,

spoiler fitted

wings now sealerd up

more sound deadening was bought ,

insides of the rear quarters were cleaned and then a strip of sd applied

can see how much cack was in there ( bottom of pic )

cleaned

backs of the quarters degreased note the glue that wouldnt shift

pads mocking in on the rear floor section

marked cut and installed

cpl random shots - everything at this point was scotched and tak ragged

cpl pic of the battery tray now installed in the bay

then it was onto bagging up the car ,

final blow out , tak ragged , ready to rock !!!

spesh on the case Ź!!

me ready to rob the local post office !!!!

two coats later

SCHHHAAAAAAAAATINNNNGGGGGGGGGGGG

has the tailgate up , hence alot of shadow in the pictures ,

the plan was to get the full inside in primer , but time was against us and it was getting late , so we called it a day with the rear end done ,

will crack on first thing with the rest of the primer , then with a bit of luck we can flat it , get it all based up in grey

also , again , a big big thanks to stu collins , the drivers front arch arrived this morning and its perfect , k's allready fitted it

top bloke ! cheers mate

also thanks again to all k's hard work today

beef & spesh

This is going to be utterly outstanding....

Beef mate, things indeed seem to be on the up. The Defence review chopped 3 ships off our flotilla, but they aren't going to be making ME redundant so I don't care I'm off again in a few days and will be back early July when I hope to see loads of progress on this baby!

TOP stuff big lad. Really is!

Looking good Beefy
Them pads work wonders in the 1/4's I put some in on the 3dr and stonechipped as well and the difference in the panel noise is massive, mind you I put quite alot in as I want it as quiet as possible.

i know it's a bit late in the day beef/spesh, but did you ever consider putting in some roll cage mounts underneath everyting so that, in the future, if you decided to put a cage in you wouldn't have to do it all over again?

and while you were at it, you could have put in some air jacks as well

danny appriceate the comments mate ,

but as ive said to the cpl people that mentioned it ,

its an unknown quantity , its never been fitted to a mk three so its a case of suck it and see ,

wont know till its built but its a bit of a compromise anyway , was always going to be rough being on coilovers ,

its a performance orientated car - if i wanted smooth id of bought a mondy lol

yeah dave im sure it will be fun , but these things must ,

primers not 100% dry yet ,

so weve decided to leave it the night and just get on with it first thing in the am

fair play danny ,

as stated , can only see what its like when its finished ,

if it was 100000000% unbearable then it would come out and id go another route such as a 200sx rear or something

i wanted this setup from the get go , end of the day only ill be able to decide what i can and cant live with ,

its getting an interior as i cannot stand cages ,

i appriceate the comments bud , but its past the point of changing ,

ive a fat ass to cushion my ride lol
