Yep, I know. Will sort this out but since the badges that is on the car now are pretty nice I haven't prioritized it

Been so fookin' pissed off all day since I had a burglary in my 'Dochworth' (4x4 cos replica) last night, so I have to change the door locks and ignition. Have had some problems with the fuel pump as well so I need to use some time on that car next week. Fortunately the thiefs didn't managed to get away with the car since it won't start because of the pump, lol.

Thanks fellas

Ordered a snap-off module and hub/boss today for a reasonable price so if the assholes shows up next time they won't see a steering wheel, lol. The door lock is still lockable so I just ordered a new genuine ignition lock from eBay for Ł14. At Fords they expected around Ł80...

Finally the underside is now ready for paint, looking forward to it as I'm bit tired of seeing this floor now, lol.

It's finally time for an update again now. Unfortunately it's going really slow here but I picked up the gearbox, diff and fuel tank yesterday, really satisfied with the final finish.

Were also at Ford yesterday and picked up four new inner arches and some bits and bobs for the fuel pump cradle. Will also fit new bolts and sump plug on the diff when these parts arrives.

All the other parts like rear beam, trailing arms, hubs, driveshafts, pump cradle etc. has been sent to blastering and powdercoating so I'll pick them up during easter I guess. If the temperature is not to bad during easter I have plans to get the underside painted and ready for assembling. Painting in cold conditions is not a good idea.

Thanks fellas, much appreciated

Btw, what do people use for sealing between gearbox and the clutch housing? Or is it some kind of gasket there? Same question for the diff as I've already have had the cover off.

Cheers mate. I used a lot of time cleaning the floor, specially scraping all the underseal off (notice: by hand), fortunately the floor wasn't sealed all the way. Used some degreasing as well as I didn't have an high-pressure washer available, think that would have done the job much easier. It's a real time-consuming job but in the end it's all worth it.

Every time I go to Ford,

"Computer says no"

Always obsolete....

I need 4 new wheel arch liners as well. I also need the clamp inside the fuel cradle.

Any ideas anyone?

Does the computer really says no or is it just the man behind the desk? When I ordered mine back in december last year there were no problem getting those.

And what clamp are you looking for? The one that holds the pump or the filter? Actually I had to re-use both clamps from my old cradle as the new ones were too short.

I have the cradle but no clamps. I was told the front wheel arch liners were Ł22 each and rears not available and not showing on back order?

Really sick I would have the wheel arch liners.

Strange. I'll ask my local Ford dealer next time I'm in and see if the rears are still available. Maby I can ship two arch liners to you?

While I'm waiting for the weekend and easter to come with some holidays and possibly get the underside painted, I've done some minor stuff. Mounted new top struts mountings and bearing on the Gaz coilovers today.

Most parts are now back from blasting and powdercoating, really pleased with the finished as I didn't want that glossy/shiny finish. Bushings were mounted in the rear beam and TCA's last weekend. I'm waiting for the driveshafts, some covers and the fuel pump cradle as those parts is going to be coated in silver grey. Unfortunately the underside hasn't been painted yet as I was in really bad shape during easter. Had plans to do some progress last weekend but then some friends dragged me onto a party on saturday so yesterday was not a good day for working on the car, lol

It's going really slow here since it's all about the cash at the moment and since I'm going to United States in June my plans are to finish the underside before I take 4 weeks off but except mounting gearbox and brakes since I need new clutch and discs/pads. Well, here are some new pics...

Finally, the underside has been primed today. Even if I've never had used a spray can before I'm actually pretty satisfied with the result. Next step is stone chip and a few coats with fresh diamond white colour, hopefully I'm done within this weekend. My head is a little messed up now after spraying underneath the car but I think it's worth it though Some pics.

@olek: Lol...sorry, the underside has become white today. It's been another long day underneath the car but now it is finally stone chipped also. I totally missed on how much stone chip I needed, had bought two litres but ended up using five. Here is some pics from today's work.
