quite poss lol, i want it done im just really losing insentive with it tbh, prob is with the car atm i can move it as i have no stub axels for my driveshafts and its parked tight against the wall so is a pain to work on, the fiesta next to it isnt running so im limited on space with all tools and crap everywhere so i end up getting fed up and going in lol.

not really, pissed myself off tangled like a spider trying to fit the cage lol, started modding brake caliper brackets to realise when i went to clean bleed nipples someone has cross threaded them , need to get taps out and see if i can salvage them or else £300 down the drain

well went for another play on the car today and thought id start with the cage..... thinking it would be like mekano and easy to assemble id get it made up so i could make the floor plates (except i didnt have enough arms to push and pull it into place) so i gave up lol. I then set about some work on the pedal box again trying to find somewhere for the masters but lines wernt long enough so opted for this:
now they were in i thought i'd plumb my brake lines into the masters but they're a different fitting from all the fittings i'd used previously that i have in my garage lol.
fitting calipers was another opyion as they were from a saff no needed playing with with a swap around of the bracket, a washer and longer bolts sorted . i thought i'd give the bleed nipples a quick clean as they looked grubby to find one in each caliper threaded and forced in so 2mo i will have to source a tap and try to salvage them . could do with spending a good day up there but incentive is small atm and everytime i start getting on i need something and have to go out (then i dont go back up there) lol

popped up the garage today for a little while and got my steering column back in, gear linkage and gearstick back in, heater matrix box...... then come in t get ready and go out .
I'm going to aim to go up there again 2mo and drop engine down, clean up bulkhead, fill/smooth where i welded the holed that were drilled for 1st pedal box and start getting it ready for an engine and hopefully awaiting a call back from someone to sort roll cage with extra bars etc , starting to miss the car now .

not much lol, got in at 4 so when i got up done some work on me dads bedroom lol, made wardrobes from scratch and been decorating before i get all the oak skirtings etc lol .
As fr the car i dropped the dummy engine out (on bench ready for you clarke) bolted up gear linkage to bulkhead to realise when i connected it up its the wrong one, mate must have been given a 5 speed one when he got it . sprayed pat of the bulkhead and chassis rail where id developed scratches etc , cleaned up a few rust scabs on inner arch as wasnt done properly before for rust to be appearing so plan to strip to bare metal, stone chip and paint
the odd good one floats about mate
