any alterations to H/G or just stick with wrc one?
What timescale are you looking at to finish now the pressure is off?

Cheers

I am going back to a wrc one and slightly diff head studs at the moment but that could all change,
So far the problems have been to much Ignition on race fuel causing first gasket problem lifting head,
Second problem diff type head gasket which is clearly no where as good as first as this let go on pump fuel.
As Rods away till mid sept nothing will happen till then.

Off on hols Saturday so little will happen till I get back.

However ive purchased a Mountune WRC inlet/ Fuel rail so that 8 injectors can be used, think Mark has decided on 8 - 630cc injectors. Ive changed the loom to run 8 injectors today before I go.
The Head & inlet are being machined & matched while im away so should be all go soon after my return.
The new type headstuds have been ordered so think thats everything covered for the re-build.

Poor Rod i feel so sorry for him being retired.

I mean, imagine just being on a jolly drive to a garden center when you happen to pass a good friends workplace and you happen to drop in to say hello.

Imagine the sort of people that would take advantage of an old man via promise of a cup of tea and a hobnob for payment..

Who is he to say no to a hobnob and a cup of tea being retired, it's almost a staple diet.

I have never worked for MAD as an employee. Helped Mark for 6 months didnt get payed, got my new engine built in loo of . I was not a good enough mechanic for Mark to employ me & he didnt have enough work on the electrical side so working full time for MAD was never an option & I didnt want to be committed anyway, you cant start this working every day lark once you have sampled what life is really about, being retired .
Im their lots & build Marks looms & enjoy it but dont ever again want to wake up & think I have got to go to work.
