Been too busy to post progress in the last week.
After the Dyno probs it was decided to change engine Spec yet again so CR has been raised .
A dummy engine complete with gt42 Turbo has been fitted this has enabled Heatshield & new exhaust downpipe & wastegate pipe to be fabricated. Tomorrow the intercooler will be modified & new boost pipe fabricated. By the weekend car should be comlete except for the engine, still awaiting new pistons which are now overdue.

Hope to be on Dyno Monday, but its getting tight, only 18 days to event .

Bit more fabrication done today, this Turbo aint supposed to fit in this space so still a few probs to sort. Pistons not arrived from States so engine re-build cant start, Dyno will now be delayed. 17 days to go.

The enguine is almost completely finished & the Fabrication work has been successfully fitted to the dummy enigine. Will remove engine in morning & then get on with brakes & Nitrous etc.
Would like to be on Dyno on Thursday, but as yet cant get a Dyno slot until next week, very frustrating as our parts done , as we are running out of time.

Hi
well the engine is complete & car is 95% complete, however a slot on the Dyno is not yet available so its Monday on the Dyno at the earliest. This will leave just 5 days to get to the start line at FT. We are still giving it our best shot, but time is running out.

Cant run the dyno at night,
it has been comfirmed for Monday, This should not be a problem as all the fab has been done and it has run at close to this level before.

Well didnt make FT as most know, but tomorrow will purchase an 8 injector manifold as Mark is not happy using 4X 1600cc.

The 8 injectors will be used with the new inlet & will be the only mod to the set-up, although a WRC gasket & new head studs will also be used.

Will start on loom mods at the weekend so at least thats done.

Not a lot more will happen till after my hols first week in September, need a break for a couple of weeks cos im F**ked with the effort ive put in & im in no hurry.
Cheers Rod

The WRC was a lot better than the cosmetic one which blew all to easily.
The WRC took a lot of abuse the time before so seems the best bet, the head studs will help im sure so lets hope its now sorted will know next session.
