S2 Resto
Starting on the underside of my series2 and would like some tips on whats best to use to keep the rust away once ive cleaned all the old underseal off.
Also how easy is it to remove the fuel/brake lines as id like to clean behind them to.

I recon the best way for rust prevention is to remove as much of the rust as possible and then use some rust treater (The chemical stuff that converts rust). Then go over with some red oxide primer.

Holla, with my Xr3i i've wired brushed it down as best as possible and banged off rust (thus going right through the floor in a few places!) and after the few small bits of welding, i trated it with Hammerite Kurust (as mentioned above), then used waxoil car underseal. The stone chip stuff is yet to go on but i have that in waiting, then probably a layer of hammerite paint aswell. Its a time consuming process my friend
