I thought you would have done a roof aswell ,how comes your not
There are no roof rails or anythin i could go off on a pulsar. if i could find away to make it look good and funtional i would ill email you some pics tomoz to show you.
Whats the weight saving on fitting a roof like this? Does it give benefits in the handling as it less weight higher up or is this outweighed by the fact you need to beef the cage up?
Been making Ron some new front arches to get some bigger rubber under the front and taking the risk of catching the metal arches away ,these arches will link into canards running up the front bumper and then in to a splitter i am making a few pics ,will be fitting them on the weekend and once fitted can line up the canards on the bumper,gave them a 2 k high build after the filler work and got some 2k black knocked up in aresols to save getting the compressor out again
,started these last monday so not bad goiing me thinks
Have you ever had a look round Jeff Windsors 3 door racer ? I know Glynn did some extensive work to help accommodate larger wheels and tyres, I don't think it looks too bad for it either, function over form etc..
Them arches will look mint on the car.I like the look of that white 3dr.
I think Dave should make the molds for them arches theres a few 3 doors still racing
And ron i really think on how good your car is now i think you should get your national race licence and enter the ttrs race series next year time attack is getting to exspensive for what it is plus theres another 2 x3doors and 3 saffs in the series so some competetion
Bit of an update time
Old arch off and ready to cut out some more metal
Some people say i came out of the womb holding a grinder lol
Front wheels still need spacing out fully
Now the arches are on work can start on the new splitter
Starting to link in to the arches
Rough first stage complete ,i have brought the bumper home to fettle on it tommorrow while ron is out
More fiberglassing to do and some smoothing
Sides still to be extended to rear of bumper and lower scoops made
