Thanks Carlo. Yes the engine build I couldn't do. Lack of funds. So Joe has done some head work and a T38 is on for this year.
Thanks Neil. I run a baffle plate and Windage tray in the sump and it is fine.

Right first up we fitted Tony Ryan aka Touring car spares new TCA/Comp strut set up
Then once that was done we could fit Tony's new 9" x 17" team Dynamics wheels Why more 3 dr owners dont fit 9" rims is beond me as they really are easy to fit.. we still need to get smaller springs for the front as the wheels have been spaced out for the pic but no biggy at all
Comedy shot
New fire wall offered up in place
And how we left it with the inlet back on intercooler/rad, cams back in ect... timing belt back on...

Looks so good on those wheels - I want some!!!!
What size tyres? Are you going to run a 4 or 5 in spring to get the spring seat up higher? Have you linished the back of the arches (you may need to when you turn the wheels). Interested in your spring rates too mate.
I would imagine you are going to fit an arb?
I like Tony's kit - I fell some spending coming on...... bastard

I hope that pic makes the mag, and i see no one has picked up on our squiggles on the fire wall yet
We nearly had the car running last night but there is a small fuel leak from a filter hose and since i cut all the wiring from the back of the loom' there now seems to be no dash lights but iv been running though it in my mind it cant be anything iv cut out, so hopefully that will be a simple fix...
Sooooo looks like we are on the home straight at last
Not sure if the car has to go to x sport for its geo set up or Jay is bringing the stuff to the car.. whatever Jay wants us to do i guess

9" rubber looks the business. Do the front tyres foul on these compression struts before the inner wing now? Are they mounted from the standard ARB points?
Nearly there how long before the first test now?

The rims are fine on all parts except the spring platform.. need to run a smaller spring.
ans the comp struts replace the ARB.. will get a bladed jobbie when funds allow
edit just to add that they still need to be adjusted/set up from those pics

Thanks for the comments.
Cochyn as Doug said these are the first set. The pics on Tonys site are of mine. They will retail at 400 pounds. Now Tony knows they all fit ok he is having a few sets made up to keep in stock so give him a shout :0)
And when you speak to him mention me. Not that you'll get a discount. Just gets me in the good books lol

Engine sounds good, no knocks, bangs, or rattles
Not been out yet as it still has 18's on one side and 17's on the other lol, still need to get the suspension set up just yet too. I picked up some more springs from TCS in the week as the bottom adjuster rings on the coilovers touch the tyres with the car sat low but unfortunately they are the wrong ID to the Gaz coilovers Ron is running. So wound them up for now till we can get some right ones.
