Tried a bit of HDR the other day, though I dont know why the sky has gone so murky in the second one?
Then went to take a couple landscapes by the beach but the light was all wrong so I had a go at a few close ups.
And a couple from Beer beach

Went into London last night with my mate, he's new to photography and wanted to know some stuff, so I tried my best to teach him the basics etc..
All taken on 'bulb' setting, tripod, remote, ISO 100, shutter timings all different as I was just playing about taking them until I was happy. 18mm/55mm and 75mm/300mm lenses used, Canon 350D. No photoshopping done at all, straight off the camera!
Quite happy seeing as this is my first night out in London with my camera gear above!
Any comments?
My mates rather dirty looking supercharged Swift we went in!

just got myself a new camera. a canon eos 500d with an ef-s 18-55 is and an ef-s 55-200 is
i have no experiance whit an slr but i want to have for a long time and now i got one. i hope that someday my pics will be just as good as the most here. so beare with me
here are some of my first shots in ''auto'' and witout photoshop.

been playing a little more.
i hope the pics wiil be larger now than the last time
and this is my first pic i tryed to play with shuttertime
for the first one it has come out realy well i think handheld.

yeah, get about a bit, I work with High Voltage switchgear which take me all around the country, Ive got a job up in Thurso in march so really looking forward to going up their again, got a full week I believe. Majority of my work is in London so the travel down from up here normally gets a few select diversions in it to check places out for photos. Did a job in Antigua last year but didnt really take the camera out (was an all inclusive resort so we spent all week getting leathered!), but weve got one in grenadines next year so looking forward to that also.expect some awesome views up Belgian Ardennes if your last lot are anything to go by

From a recent shoot. Brief was candid, black & white at this country park, Coombe Abbey for those local.
First shot is ISO 3200 for a bit of texture. Both shots Nikon 105mm f2.8 VR
In other news i just got a print back of an ISO 6400 shot, OMG! I'll try and get a shot of it, unreal.
