Default My sierra 3dr 2.0i S

Hi!! My name is carlos an i'm from barcelona(spain) and a big fan of the RS Fords.I wanted a 3dr cosworth, but as the prices are very high i decided to make my own replica. So i searched a 3dr sierra. And here it is, a 1986 3dr 2.0is.Dash is cracked to death .It costed me around 600euro.
By the time i'm learning to drive a rwd car, as it is my first one. When i get comfortable with it, i plan to buy a crashed or a bargain 2wd shapphire as a donor for the 3dr.Now to the pics.Hope you like it.

So i went to my first drift practice at a track day that some friends organized. It was full of FWD cars and some were scared of my driving LOL .
The car is full stock at the moment, with some parts being 20year old or older as you can see in the pictures.Inmediate plans are welding the diff ( a must really!! ) and getting some stiff suspension for it, so i can practice better. The only modification yet is an OMP wheel and touring spec headlamps:wack: :wack: I will update the thread as modifications go on.

So go on with the pics!!

To the end of the morning a water hose broke , so the car was towed home..

Update!!!!!!

I have booked in for a track day next december so i went doing some things on the car.

First of all, welding the diff!!

My friend , who I obligated to wake up at 10' on a sunday to begin welding

Hope it lasts...I gave it some action and it did well for the moment!!

Then I looked into reinforcing the diff mount with some metal and screws, to stop the diff from moving too much thanks to 21 years old bushings.

Lastly, I installed some poly exhaust hangers.Look what happened to the stock ones at the other track day, they all cracked.

Will update with more things I must do, like adapting some fiesta recaro seats and doing the washers mod for more castor.Maybe post up some vids of streeto(on private track of course).
