Default 86' Transit 130

Hi, i recently purchased a 86' D Ford transit 130 minibus it has a 2.0 engine but i am unsure of which engine it is OHC or CVH ??

is it diesel or petrol if its petrol it should be the 2 litre pinto engine as you dont get 2 litre cvh engines to my knowledge

If it's petrol, it's DEFINITELY the pinto!

yeah transits never had cvh engines and the biggest cvh engine i no of is that in the sierra which is a 1.8 so is DEFINITELY a pinto lump

petrol. 2.0 carb ohc low compression.
petrol. 2.9 efi v6 120 Ambulance Only
diesel. 2.5 di

Rubbish, he is talking 86 the V6 option was 3 litre Essex and was an SVO option. Then 89 they started having the 2.9 but was still avaliable as an option not just in Ambulances.

Yes the engine is a low compression pinto.
