Default some swedish odd stuff :D

ok i'm a sucker for the odd stuff thats it so this will be another one not of the shelf
have bought an wery cool engine today with gear indications and 2 exhaust ports and awesome looking engine halfs, rims are 17" with white walls and the paint will probably be wery dark blue with gold striping, not sure what tank to use yet, either the one in the pics or a little bigger one we'll see

i spotted a small design error with the first set of cut out engine mounts (a line thru the frame/engine didn'nt match) so i cut new ones the "old way" will spot weld them before tigwelding the entire bike after all things are in place

to adapt the newer jap nut to the old villiers carb the brass schim was needed

will look badass when polished

the bottom plug is a little to big so i will replace that and then the carb is bolt on

it's small and really cool i cant decide though on were to have the foot controls will decide that after the seat is done

well have scored some stuff for the little bastard
awesome looking twist throttle and an old ford tailight

yes i know the tailight is common nowadays but will use it because i need licenseplate lights and stuff thats are allready built in to this
the throttle grip will look killer all polished and with the cable running along the handle bar in a copper tube and via a round brass pulley (from a modell railway train) open down to the carb, the grips them selfs are made of glued together slices of mahogny or teak mixed with slices of brass and formed in the lathe in similar shape as an american football (elipse that means ) same goes for the foot pegs

cheers and beers

also got some other stuff, the mini connecting rod with needle bearing will be the lever arm for my chain tensioner as i will have no adjustment in my axle plates ( i hope ) will try to use the rubber grommets for front tank mounts but will see if the size apeels to me when testing, the new cromed spring for my girder turned out to be in a greater shape than in the pic the seller had posted

small 2˝" tailight score, the housing will be stripped of paint and will go to the crome tub along with some other bits

this is sent to my cutter,it's brackets for the front exhaust tubes,2 different radiuses as the frame tube is a little smaller than the exhaust,1 welded to the frame and the other to the tube and will also be cromed as a result of previous bla bla bla

well some crappy pics of a trolly to build on that leaves all bike open and free to work on and still be able to spin it around and get it out of the way when cleaning and working on other bits

the fender will be trimmed when the rear rim has been restored and the whitewall is back on,the radius of the rim will be copied to the fender opening, the fender is ribbed

the handlebar is just for now, haveing trouble deciding on what to use

the air cleaner is a one of the first to id it will get a large beer if we ever get to meet

the brake stay is stock to the rim i just cleaned some metal brackets of it and added a small tab to the frame

everyone need atleast one object with apehanger

well the shit storm is never ending it seems, the wife got robbed a few weeks back and her boss got stabbed (little but needed 2 stitches) and she needed some help getting over that and i just sort of recovered after the loss of my best friend and then yesterday my father stopped his struggle and passed away, this is getting to me now but i'll fight back again, rip dad 80 years and 9 days of hard life to an end, hope he's allright now finally

to have something to take my mind of things i made theese test plates for tank mounting, not to happy mounting the tank ridgid and i kind of like the grommets so it will be rubber somehow,so what do you guys think??

small stuff gets done when i find a few mins to spare, made this tail lamp out of a celing lamp bought at a flea market and a glass lens from a swedish traktor from the 40*s and a brass thingy for a boat, cut a small piece of the threads and made the lens fit snugg inside and mounted it from the front of the big brass nut, then put the lens in from the rear and cut a longer piece and fitted it from bhind to clamp the lens in place, and the house armature donated the cap that will house the lamp bulb and finish the housing off, will post pics off the bracket when i start on the bike again
