to do the saff i used a 3dr cossie front end & the rest was merc.all cossie runng gear so should look proper once done

For those really hard to get rid of transfers on plastic windows ! brake fluid works.. soak for 3-4 hours , does not dis colour the clear plastic..




and spot the finger marks of the poor bugger in china who sprays these models !

These bits might be of use when adding detail to your 1/18th project !
They are nuts and bolts made by Aber in etched brass at 1/35th scale they are designed for tanks etc , but i think in 1/18th they are ideal for detailing engine bays and the like..



And a pic of the wheel of my Maisto Merc AMG DTM.. not bad detail for a budget model ..

 

Yeah its good stuff. I use cotton buds to rub it off aswell.

Did take the laquer off my Escort Mk3 tho, but have decals to go over it.
