finally finished my lexus today, i got the jap police scooby off roy (thanks again!) and used the numberplates to finish off the vip look i was going for..
been stripped and started too many times to count lol

amber fogs, toyota supra 2jz engine (half of it is self made, only the block, intake and outlet manifolds are from the supra)

still has the undercar puddle lights too but theyre pretty dim in daylight

Bit of an update on the Merc AMG , since last week managed to strip and spray the shell in primer.The Maisto castings were crap... took a lot of filing , sanding and more sanding to get it really smooth !





Sorry its not a Ford but its a nice model to work with , off to Halfords tomorrow to get a nice orange/red colour for it...

CHEERS GUYS cortina did around Ł160/180 i think. i was sh1ting my self when i listed that. they copy mate but hardly any have the attention to detail yours have.
Its the little things like the moss and grass that add the finishing touch.
The one on the bay at the moment will do well as it is quite a rare model to find anyway.

still lots of work to do and im going to have to spray the whole shell tghough i might ger away with brush painting the bumpers and body it with humbroll model paint but its miles off the right colour plus the car isnt diamonfd white so its a trip to my automotive paint suppliers also you will notice ive broken the grill any one doing the correct grill in resin??

 

not really but all the filler work doesnt help just dont dust my models often enough and the missis wont go near them for fear of breaking them
