if u think there worth casting then send us them, incomplete wheel sets are perfect cause i can redo them to make them fit my outer rims and cast inserts.

Iv not croaked it, my internet doesn't work very well on this site, it sometimes takes like 10/15mins to load each page if it'll load & you's could imagine how stressfull it can be?!

Anyway, bad new about the HEMI engine, its far too big for the capri!, i would say the engine's 1/12 scale & not 1/18 like stated on the box, even the rocker cover's are a bit too big for a custom job!

I also turtle waxed the capri & she's glowing now, i always use turtle wax on my model cars But got to be Carefull with some of the details like window rubber's, badge's, logo etc, turtle wax take it off!

 

Can you cast Escort Cosworth WRC Road car wheels? Ive only got 3 and one is cracked. What about tyres aswell?

 

LOL, it helps that she never wants for anything and has 2 BMWs, (X5 and 330 Sport Convertible).
The cars all in my office so out the way of all the house too.
Oh and she is very understanding

thanks, i used "humbrol 85"(satin black) i covered the window rubber area with the paint & wiped off what went over the lines to get a perfect straight line

 

The X5 is really nice. The wife wasnt sure at first as it is big, but we got front, rear and side parking sensors so easy to park. With the auto is is so easy to drive, very comfy too.
Well worth the money imo

 

plasticote paint is awful ive had problems my self i favour hycote auto paints

Help! iv just spotted the alloys i want for my mk3 capri!, Does anyone have a spair set of standard 1/18 minichamps mk1 capri rs 4spoke alloys??? i thought it was only the modified 4spokes available until i noticed the standard ones in a photo in another post, then researched on ebay to find them on the minichamps orange mk1 capri rs!

 

finally got my RS cab looking the way i wanted it to and this was the first model i ever started to moddify all them months ago lol

i usually convert the wheels to fit the tyres i can get hold of .i have made some outer rings 2 versions, 1 for deep dish wheels the other for standard wheels like the rs 7 spokes.the wheels u got i would most prob try to convert them to fit the standard rims and would then make a insert version of them to drop straight into my rims,then i would have no problem getting tyres.

Got the Rs 4 spokes fitted on my Mk 1 Escort Twin Cam & Mk 1 Escort Avo,i am well chuffed with how they look-thanks to escortnutter for sorting them out & for the advice on fitting,i drilled holes in the alloy part off centre & just the right size to fit the hubs without the need to glue them.Heres a few pics i took,also put on the bib spoilers,just stuck on with bluetac at the mo.
Note the Twin Cam is without head lights & grill as im swapping them for the round ones.
