Hi everyone, i know i am a newbie or "Virgin" as this site likes to call me and i dont actually own a ford right now, but this seems to be one of the only places on the net where you can talk about 1:18 scale cars

As most of you seem to be, i also am very much into my model cars and the more i read through this thread, the more i want to modify.

So, i wanted to guage everyones thoughts on whether it would be worthwhile creating a new website dedicated to 1:18 cars, a miniature owners club if you like

Im proud to be a geek lol, i love these things and it seems as though its just getting bigger and bigger, and as great as this thread is, i thought it would be good to have a dedicated site.

I was thinking that it would be a good place to share tips and tricks, pictures, lists of where parts can be found etc etc...

I dont want to invest a huge amount of time and effort making a site if everyone thinks its a pants idea, just wanted to see what public opinion was like.

Cheers Matt

there is a few dedictaed sites, but i found them to be not very friendly.
good idea starting one but we would all need to move there and chat about our model cars.

maybe passion ford could start a model section!!!!

How about holding a 1:18th 'Ford fair' show with scaled concours stands, club stands etc,now that would make a damn good Ford mag feature

agreed ,
there is a few sites already out there but not a lot of activity on them .
this thread probably has 10 times the amount of people viewing it than members , i used to keep looking on here for about a year before i joined .
i think we need to work out a way of letting a wider range of modders know that this thread is here !
maybe if we all do some pictures or video of our models and post it on youtube with a link to the thread under the title 1/18 scale modified models.....
i will certainly do one for model motorvation on there in the very near future as my son posted a couple of videos of my models about a year ago and i have had quite a few emails from viewers on youtube

colin ,
did he supply pictures of the model damaged?
sounds like he wants to get another one finished with the parts he's after....
also he can only get his money back if he returns it to you.
to do this he has to pay the postage as this is paypals policy for returns.
you are also not responsible for damage caused in transit he should be making a claim through paypal for his money or the courier firm that transported it.
