If your stuck finding somewhere to get the glass cut to size i went to a glazier shop in Chelmsford in Moulsham Street,the name of the clamps/brackets from B&Q are called wire rope grip for 5mm diameter wire rope they are where the ropes/chain link fence bits are.

cool, i work in chelmsford anyway on widford ind est near tesco miami roundabout so might have to look them up

There called Moulsham glass,on the right hand side opposite the second hand car sales lott,think they close at 4pm,i got 3mm thick glass,i got 1 mirror cut today (£5) & 1 plain glass (£3) the clamps are £3.28 pack of 4 so its not bad for under £30 per cabinet i will post somemore pics tomorrow.

Dam it i've got the bug for this now, Need some paint to finish the Focus.
Started on an slk amg.

Is milliput better to use then body filler?

depends wot u want to use milliput for??
filler is good for smoothing things,milliput is good for making things like bodykits.
its not spreadable like filler,u use ur hands to put it on.

i seen this the other day as i was looking for idea's for another project & thought,fook it ill ave ago lol
my missus thinks it ugly,so i could it project ugly bastard lol
looks good complete but the model looks shite.


it didnt stay blue long lol,had to cut the arch's so the car sits lower.





wot ya think??

Turned out better that I thought it would. The wheels are a little to big and barely turn, but its going in my cabinet anyway. For the price of the Impreza, it doesnt matter that the tyres are a little square'd off on one edge.

Ive made a replica of mine too. Got a 1/18 Focus ST on my list of ones to do.

I dont mind useing filler for smoothing, its just that I want to make a kit next and didnt want to use filler.
I'll try milliput and see how I get on.

Really want to try my hand at a mk3 cossy, just need a escort shell and there like £25 on egay.
