i am liking this one a lot mate!
you have done a great job fitting the decals.
will have about 60 sets of wheels in about 2 weeks time lads , so any one who wants a set of real aluminium 4 spokes pm me so i can set them aside before listing any!

 

im in corringham mate near basildon and i am after some white comp mos or escort cosworth wheels for my 3-door and maybe a roll cage and i am thinking of making a front splitter for it some how lol

Do you think they will suit a Mk3 Escort?

If I could get a set please then I will have to see if my model shop has any Mk1 Escorts in.

i have no idea i'm not the best at spraying lol but what's it made out of?

 

i think the speedfreaks are made out of plaster or something like that

 

not sure what u need ? you might need to primer it with a plastic primer first?
depends what finish it has.

 

the aluminium wheels are a bit small for the mk3 they ideally suit the mk2 mk1 escort,but we are looking into getting a larger size made suitable for the mk3 ,cossie and sierra's soon.
we do have plastic/resin wheels that suit the escort.

 

Dave i was thinking the same thing there i am going to try a bit on the leg with the plastic primer and see what happens.
then if its ok will do the reat of it but will mask up the visor on the helmet and spray the whole thing gloss white.

oh and im looking for a exhaust for my 1600i i only want a back box for it coz i have a tiny little pee shotter on it at the moment just where do you get your parts from ie small stuff im not into spraying them or anything just easy add ons if you know what i mean dont want to spoil them coz im a cluts and probly sod them up lol i want a trolly jack aswell iv seen some on american ebay and they look cool ,and i soon will be after a transit van and a mk 2 escort ghia aswell and can i ask how you make the k&n air filters please

 

a lot of stuff you can get off ebay if noone on here has what u need

 

i would give it a wash first,then scotch pad it,then just brush paint it,will look just as good as if you was spraying,helmet already white so just the body to paint

 

Well it seems to have taken ages to do this model, but finally it`s finished.
MK1 Escort, Cosworth engine, RS 4 spoke wheels, tinted rear windows to be different.
Now this is finished I can complete the MK3 widearch Escort now.

 

Started my Focus, Bodys full of casting marks and is going to take forever. Rest of its finished tho. Cage is red not pink like the pick.

 

Love the orange mk2 escort.

I put this exhaust on my Mk3 Escort GL. It did have a bigger one, but this is just the size I wanted.





Its just aluiminum tubeing from my local model shop. If you want a bit, let me know.

Got my escort today im going to make it into an estate but it wont be yet as ive got my mk2 to finish and a mk3 escort which is having a escort cosworth body kit fitted to it.

looks like youre doing the same thing as me, making a road version , ive only done my interior so far and 'painted' the outside black iwth a sharpie lol

 

Am doing a road one to lol, Dont know what colour the out sides going to be yet. Got to finish the bleeding filling and sanding yet.

work some cracking models.I got myself 2 more shelves today for my ikea cabinet,had 1 done used from a mirror to reflect the models,i will post pics up tomorrow
