well i thought i would get started on something with a spare hour or so i have had today.
been thinkig what to do with this mk1 cortina since i got it and thought i would have a go at the miliput as everyone else is getting on with it!
added some wide arches , front lip spoiler and a discreet boot spoiler which the more i look at it the more i like it.
long way to go yet !

OMG stripping down a mk1 cortina that takes balls as they are so costly to buy, but it is looking awsome

 

lol.....i didnt strip it mate , if it was in one piece when i got it i wouldnt have touched it
it was in bits when i got it and had about three layers of different colour paint on it

 

oh so yr not that ballsy then lol
will look cool when finished

 

Has anyone bought this months Performance ford.How mint is that mans model collection.

 

i wouldnt hesitate to chop one up i just think out of all the ford models out there they are the most acurate. and look best left alone.

They are well nice mate, but i would give it another couple of months because they are a quite new model so there might be in shops or on ebay in a couple of months or so.

i got my decals today so made a start on the estate
i think they set the car off looks awsome
shame my missus bent the n/s door in the lap top paint chiped off now & dont shut properly
& i broke the front window & lost the door handle
bastard.




need to get the rest on but paint the bonnet first lol
thinking of changin the colour off the wheel aswel

i have my crap green one sitting around for spares and if that bloke sends the red one back that will be spares lol although he sent me pics today all that has happened is the graphics have come off in places and the centre of the wheels have come out, thats all i can see wrong with it the twat

yeah i took my r5 wheels of.
they are just pushed on,i slowly went around the wheel on the bak with a screw driver inbetween the wheel & black circle bit.

Ive just done some work on my Mk2 Ive made a broad speed body kit for it i will post some pics when its been sanded. Then over the next week or two I'm gona buy a escort Mk3 and make an estate like model motorvations one.

I got a 1/18th Mercedes AMG DTM from ebay yesterday with the idea of modifying it ,its been stripped with nitromors and the window decals are soaking in brake fluid as i type ! not sure what colour would suit it though, thinking of bright orange or a lime green what do you guys think .. (sorry its not a a Ford )
