i wana do more to my dodge viper but not sure what to do and i've only got as far as the front bumper extension

 

nice little body kit would look nice just extend on the standard bumpers like your done on the front looks smart then add some black wheels and spray it silver or a metallic lime green would look good mate.

i tend to have a look on the net for inspiration, im sure there'll be plenty of modded vipers in the US, try and do the GTS rear end with the big ducktail spoiler

i also wanted to change the exhaust on it aswell but i dont know how to as the standard tailpipes come out of either side of it

 

just take them completely off or cut the end of and add some new or if you want to have the exhausts come out the back u can buy some aluminium tubing in B&Q very cheap buy two so one fits in the other 1 its a tight fit but it looks good its all i use, used it on my green capri on page 183.

 

i've thought of that already and to take them off completely means i have to take the engine out aswell as there moulded to it!!

i want them coming out the back as i want it to look a bit like the gts coupe version of the viper but im also having trouble finding a viper gts bonnet

i was thinking of putting the original wheels off my viper on it but i want some which are bigger in diameter

 

ah ha what have i missed tonite with that guy who comes on every weekend when his been drinking and just talks crap lol, everyone is at different skill levels but we all have the same thing in common the love of modding 1.18 models, i wont even chance doing a body kit as i cant even make one fit that has been made for me lol, but i dont care what people say i will just keep changing wheels and exhausts and the easy bits as its what makes me happy, end of!!!

 

nothing much fella he's just been critisizing my first attempt at modding a 1/18 bmw 325i convertible saying that it looks like a 8 to 10 year old has done and that so

 

i will try another mk1 broadspeed kit when i find another cheap mk1 and strip it right down fit the body kit (properly) then spray it all up, soon lol

i cant say much as ive never tried to do a body kit myself, but from what ive seen the other guys do i recon it needs shaping a bit more, its hard to tell while its at that stage. if u read some of the other threads they keep adding primer to see how the shape is coming on
