i did do a mk2 pickup awhile back and really like it

that really does fit in there the nuts mate looks custom made for it , really want a couple of cabinets now

 

Mate you have to,they display so nice in cabinets you could always get two side by side and put your garages in like mine

 

hmmmm , will give it some thought over the weekend as i can fit 2 in here along the wall where i have the storage cupboard in the study and not disturb anything else other than the wifes patience......lol

i have enjoyed it so far,only did a couple of hrs then stuck it away.

I went to screwfix and got some of these



I then bolted them on each of the metal support poles


I then went to a local glaziers and had 3mm thick glass cut to size.

does anyone kno where i can get some deep dish wheels from on a budget for a 1/18 bmw?

money's realy tight right now lol

 

i get all my wheels from model motivations, dont think you'll find wheels anywhere else cheaper as not alot of choice in the uk

 

thats where i was goin to get wheels from but my budget is realy tight at the moment and iv only got a limit of Ł4 til my money gets sorted out

 

i've tried the original wheels off my dodge viper on it but the suspension needs modification to fit properly but if i did that then the axle won't stay on

 

all my wheels are glued on and dont rotate and some dont steer either

 

i always glue mine on if im putting new wheels on it is very hard getting new wheels to rotate

 

I love the way you have made the body kit mate, when thats finished that will look well good.

 

oh right!

even if i did that thought they still wouldn't be on there straight as the suspension is in the way on the rear wheels

 

I got loads of them little brackets ,colin should give us a shout if he wants any.

 

have i missed something!! everybody has guessed wrong, so what is it going to be then.youve already done a van, so other than that a estate or cab????
i would go for the cab seing as theres no roof left..

 

i've now got the exhaust system fitted up to my bm now which is from the same corvette as the engine was and it looks good on the bm, all thats left to get now is a decent set of wheels and then i can get on with more on the viper
