Nice pics Matt,was that a model 'trade fair' as owner of model shop i went to yesterday told me he was going to a fair today.I can't believe sunstar have not released any mk2 Escort Mexico's,Harriers,RS1800 or RS2000's & even more suprised no mk3 series 1 Rs,they are missing out on a huge market for those models in 1:18th
they not be bringing out the s1 for abit mate,they making mk3 xr3i's first,i speak to a bloke that sends them pics of the escorts or aranges for them to get the detail of his car,they said they not make a s1 because it will kill the sale of all the gl models.
maybe give them a year or 2

the trade fair was at the ricoh area it was by invite only
the mk is still an untapped area i think that minichamps threatened rs200 & rs 1800 are causing a problem here i was speaking to one of the guyus behind the model icon range and asked if they had though about modifing a mk2 into the rs2000 but it was judged to be cost prohibited
but mexicos and harriers seem like a no brainer i mean it not like therse much rthey would have to do to the sport worringly though there are only three escort road cars listed in the price list i got the red rs1600i and the 2 forthcomming xr3i cabrios

i suggested to the guy from model icos he take a look at this site and see how many custom s1 turbos are being done as its a missed market niot to mention the rs1700t or a phase 2 rs turbo
yr RS2000 has shot up in price Dave lets hope it goes alot higher

Don't think people relise a twin cam will cost 50 quid standard
I've put my modded mk1 on eBay just to see what it will fetch at auction

Yellow xr3 is just gone on ebay im going to try and get it as i havent had any news back from my model shop yet saying they can or cant get 1 but it says freight as the postage can someone tell me what it means or what it is??????????? cheers.

ModelZone at Manchester had 6 yellow XR3's last week when i rang them,£24.99 each plus about £6 48 hour delivery.
PHATC the mk2 looks great on the Rs rims,i may just have to ge a set for mine now
Not seen an xr in there for a long time. I wounder if there hiding stock to get rid of some of there crap!!
if you ask at the counter they tend to have a fair bit of stock out the back or in the basement, i got my kyosho rx7 and datsun 240z by asking if they had anything japanese out the back
the arctic blue mk3s are well nice, making me want another one!
decided im gonna get a mk2 though shortly, got plans
lets hope it goes alot higher
