yes buy it now,
iam working on a engine conversion at the moment.
it will consist of the centre pipe over top of engine and a turbo.
to be honest tho u wont really see much of the turbo as they sit low down.

 

was the capri the modded one that streetfighter was selling or a standard one?

 

my RS cab has been waiting for a kit for aaaaaaaaaaaaaages as i don't think i cld do one myself

you can pick up a cab in white for Ł26 on ebay..

i not be making as my mate put me off them,he use to max power them up & always got the piss taken out of him lol.
there are some nice 1's tho.

the car could be done,mk3 escort isnt much shorter,only looks diff cause of the roof style.anything is possiable

the diana car ? wasnt this one of only 2 s1's to officially leave the factory that werent white the other being a crystal blue car that was on the tv series cats eyes and driven by a very young leslie ash

 

if i was going to do this i would us a hatch and a cabriocut the hatch at the base of the rear window cut the cab in front of the boot hinges and join them so you would have a working boot but then theres the problem of the car being shy of 2 doors unles you wanted a 2 door orion

 

id probably go down the same route as Roy has with the sierra sapphire, use a mercedes as the side windows are roughly the same shape, just graft an escort front end on and modify the back lights etc

 

Went to the model shop fella's and sorry no xr3is or mk2 road cars.
They had a load of red cabs (Ł30), r5 gtt road (Ł37) and race (Ł40). Mk2 rally Castrol's (Ł52!!)and a few Rs1600i's red and black (Ł37).

Got a cab should have been Ł30, but she only charged me Ł20.

Got to go to Manchester tomorrow and i'll have a look in the model shop there and let you's know.

yea the diana 1 was the only ever registered schwarz colour series 1 and it now lives in a museum

 

i found it hard trying to get decent pics of it online !!!
wanted to check the decal colours for it.

there exactly the same blue as the white 1s have mate

 

yere i got there in the end but most pics i found they were grey looking...lol.

 

welll as soon as the kits are ready 1 is going staright on.

the pics ive seen of the car they are blue as in the white car i cant however remember for sure what colour the decals were on the crystal blue car were think they were black
