Modelzone in lakeside just have crap in 1.18 it's a waste of time evengoing there that's why I have to get all mine from eBay

 

I went to Model Zone at Lakeside last weekend,bought the Sierra & red RS1600i but other than that nothing court my eye,they allways had plenty of Mk 1-2 & 3 Escorts & Sierra Cossies but not much now.

Im going to do a mk2 estate escort but when its finished how do i do the rear lights do i use water decals, paint them or what else.

 

Going to pick it up tomorrow with the Capri and rs500, there at my mam's. So i'll give you a shout tomorrow.

he has made loads of estates so im sure he would be glad to help

 

there are loads of blue ecos on ebay now lol people must think their going to get loads of money but with that many on they sld go cheap

Ive finally made up my mind i aint doing a estate now i got the milliput out and done 1 side of the car so far im going to put some aluminium wheels on it a bigger exhaust and some other things to it as well but i dont know if i should spray it then leave it or add rally decals to it to. i have a blue and red escos , but dont like them , i think the quality of them is tacky up against the autoarts and minichamps but i can understand the collectability of them as there discontinued but they go for silly money imo

where it says milliput that writing is in brown but i brought this one because its like the rest you can sand it and spray it all those things its probably the same as yours but different colour mate.

i have made a total of 6 mk1 escort estates to date.
sold the 2nd 1 i made to a guy on ebay in germany and he gave me an order for another 4 which i have done and sent a while ago.
the mk2 estate above in the picture is the first mk2 ive done and just needs putting back together.

 

the rear glass for the sides and back is custom made from perspex.

 

how much did you get for them mate

 

first one sold on auction for Ł213.00 plus postage.
the other 4 were a bit more as they were to his own spec decal wise and had real aluminium rs 4 spokes aswel.
got Ł20.00 postage on each as they had to go insured.

 

im relieved i was bidding on one of those limited edition capri's tonight and it went over Ł85 after that had gone the bloke put a buy it now one up for Ł69 Ł7.50 p+p so i brought it well glad i didnt put another bid on the other one and got i would of been well pis*ed of

 

wow mate i think i will sell one on there when i do one if you got that much for it i was expecting you to say about Ł120 something like that

 

is it the bloke from germany cos he charges Ł15 postage if u want it recorded and for that price u dont want it getting lost
