Heres my current work in progress.

MK1 Escort.
Just needs laquer, then putting back together, cossie engine, RS 4 spoke wheels



MK3 Escort widearch.
Needs spraying and laquer, putting back together, cossie engine, BBS split rims.

 

still got a bit of work to do on them but hopefully next couple of weeks time permitting.
theres a good few kits to come from us yet including some MAD stuff.
got to work out all the costings and get them ready then price them.

Don't suppose you are planning to make any front bib spoilers like this for the mk 2 Escort also would like a rear spoiler for the mk 2 & some rs 4 spokes

got the boot spoilers , just got to run some more off and i am just working on the front bib spoiler for the mk2 at the moment amongst others!

there is a shortage of mk1's already when u bring these out there will be even less lol

Ordered a Mk 3 Capri last night (blue/silver) from place in Germany where PhatC got his from,thanks with your help with the ordering process
Hope it will arrive before the weekend

I hope they got some left one of them I sold on eBay has got lost in the post and it's only insured for Ł35

 

unless youve got solid proof of it being worth anything all they send you is a book of stamps too

 

Finger's crossed it shows up.I paid for mine with pay-pal as iv'e mis-laid the credit card lol...it showed up as having more in stock,i may even pre-order one on that GT-Models site.Im thinking to add a set of the RS 4 spokes to it if & when i can get a set,im after 3 or 4 sets to put on my Escorts,i also remember on the other thread someone who made the wheels of a Mk 1 Twin Cam into the deep dish version,fancy some of those lol...and if im brave enough with another Mk 3 capri i'd like to make a replica of the one my parents used to own,that was a 1982 Mk 3 Capri 1.6 Cabiret ltd edition

A bit of fiddling with my Dremmel to get the new wheels sitting how I wanted and it now looks like this.




Trying to source some RS1600 bumpers and spots for it now as well as decals. First stab at all this and I have to admit to feeling a bit guilty at taking my Dremmel to a brand new model

 

Stamps,wtf and when they go on strike they want people to back them.You posted it theres not more you can do.The last model i sold on fleabay i sent first class special delivery with a tracking number and gets delivered by 1pm next day.Postman Pat could do a better job.

 

if it's more than Ł40 worth of goods always send special delivery then you are insured for i think Ł500?? 1st class is only for goods up to Ł40.even if its worth more than that u wont get any more from them.

 

how did u get the wheels off...... i have tried with flat screwdriver but cant get it off

ive been lurking now and then but not posting so much as ive done nothing since xmas, i am hoping to get cracking shortly now the snows stopped though!

the escort cab is nice, blackfocus if your not bothered about the original wheels just lever out the center cap with a scalpel or something similar

 

i have tried that with flat screw driver so guess need something really flat end like scapel? just centre cap right?

 

Stanley knife blade to remove the centre of the wheel and then undo the screw. Only took a couple of minutes.

 

finally got the wheels off!!! now need some new ones..... mmmh

 

Bit more work done to mk2 all going well so far just need to do the back wheel arch tidy all the milliput up then stripp it then its ready for paint but that wont be till summer to cold.001-2.jpg?t=1263404240002-3.jpg?t=1263404581
