1/18 modified models
i did these yesterday night i forgot! i did the decals for these wheels in photoshop just to finish them off and Dave printed them off for me, make a huge difference imo.

The wheels are OZ Futuras, so i made the centercap as close as i can
( pic ; http://www.clublexus.com/gallery/data/500/100_0279.JPG )
probably keep them for another lexus project im waiting to start
also, painted up and put the BBS centercap decals on my LMS then fitted them to my R33..

R33's are my favorite car, so doing this one how id have mine in 1/1 - subtle, just want an exhaust and some subtle carbon parts on it. maybe work out how to lower the front end a tiny bit, but its fine for now, took me ages to work out how to leave the wheels rolling & steering!

how did you manage to keep the wheels rolling and steering fells?
youre beemer looks cool for a first attempt mate, couldve done with a skim of filler to smoothen it out but practice makes perfect
im not sure if itll work on other brands, but autoart cars have the brakes on a metal spindle, i kept the original brakes and glued a thin hollow tube to the disc, cut to the proper length so the wheels sit flush in the arches, then glued to the wheels to the tube

oh right!! its a maisto bmw with the plastic spindles, but no worries i've seen a lexus in my local modelshop that i like the rims on so i might get that and swap the wheels on t my bmw, i've just got to lacquer it tomorrow and sort the exhaust out, and im also stuck for ideas on the seats as the original front seats are red and they wouldn't look right with the color the car is now
does anyone know how much the 1-18 plastic escort cossies go for on ebay because i dont want to pay to much for the plastic 1 on there at the minute??????

I was just ready to give up. I found it easy too. Dint smoke that much though.
But once ive got all the 1-64 i want done done that will be the end of the collection for them then it will be 1-18's all the way i will be posting my rs turbo over the next few days completly finished with all its detail on.
never touched a smoke in my life and dont intend to..
