Hi everyone! sorry iv not been on much the past few months(about 100 new pages since i was on before!), iv not done much work on any of my 1/18 models, only stuff iv done is taken the 4 spoke alloys from the 1/43 orange corgi capri & fitted them on the caspian blue capri, it looks the beez kneez now i bought a 1/43 corgi xr3 police car too, iv really been thinking about taking T-cut to the police colours & have it as a normal white xr3 but the problem is the roof light hole, hmmm. iv been building some airfix models, ones nearly finished(1/200 Qantas 747-400) im in the middle of building two 1/144 airfix 747's & not started the 1/144 revell 747 with interior yet, been using the car spray paint on the planes, gr8 result's!

Good news, i might be able to move back into my other flat very soon, so i'll be uploading a few pics of my lovely orange 1/18 camper with purple interior, my 1/18 herby, few 1/43 right hand drive converted vauxhall novas, 1/43 black xr2i/rs turbo & a few others when im back in.

there's a few cars & bits im after, but not in a rush for, they're a 1/18 UT mk5 escort in any colour(preferred choice is red), 1/18 sunstar mk3 escort in yellow(pricks at modelenium haven't done anything about the one i ordered in january, or contacted me to say its out of stock ), also could do with a set of standard original 1/18 four spoke alloys from a capri(the ones from the mk1 model).

i might post a couple pic's of my 1/43 blue corgi capri with the 4 spokes later, it looks sexy!

Im just gona take badges off replace spoiler for 1 of yours and put a big exhaust on it because thats what scoobys are known for big old exhausts and big spoilers it will look well meaty i hope by the end of it keeping wheels on it tho, like them.

just saw this lol, ill be doing some finishing bits to the light blue scooby on the interior, numberplates, headlights etc then ill be cracking on with the XR4i which will be sold once done

haha its the dark blue one i did a while back not the recent one, its just a little bit rough in places cause it wasnt the best condition model to start with i dont want much for it though, just enough to buy a nice shiny new silver one lol

 

i did these yesterday night i forgot! i did the decals for these wheels in photoshop just to finish them off and Dave printed them off for me, make a huge difference imo.


The wheels are OZ Futuras, so i made the centercap as close as i can

also, painted up and put the BBS centercap decals on my LMS then fitted them to my R33..



R33's are my favorite car, so doing this one how id have mine in 1/1 - subtle, just want an exhaust and some subtle carbon parts on it. maybe work out how to lower the front end a tiny bit, but its fine for now, took me ages to work out how to leave the wheels rolling & steering!

Anybody help with fitting a UT EsCos engine?

 

id imagine it should be straight forward for the engine mate, just test fit it and trim anywhere it fouls, bit of superglue once its fitted

steve does sierra engine blocks though, look miles better than the escos ones and will be easier to fit, just means building it and painting it

unscrew the chasis to get to them.

 

like dave says but once you get the front wheels out on the steering bar you can pull them off the spindle bit,you mit need to put this back on so you can fix the new wheels,they are fixed on just like suntar mk2 escorts but be careful when doing it
