im not sure if itll work on other brands, but autoart cars have the brakes on a metal spindle, i kept the original brakes and glued a thin hollow tube to the disc, cut to the proper length so the wheels sit flush in the arches, then glued to the wheels to the tube

oh right!! its a maisto bmw with the plastic spindles, but no worries i've seen a lexus in my local modelshop that i like the rims on so i might get that and swap the wheels on t my bmw, i've just got to lacquer it tomorrow and sort the exhaust out, and im also stuck for ideas on the seats as the original front seats are red and they wouldn't look right with the color the car is now
