hey chaps, ive been getting silly quotes on my s2 turbo.... even from need to insure, the best ive had is 1400quid... does anyone recommened anyone else???

how old are you? think you will be able to get clasic insurance.

 

im 24 mate, with 4 years no claims.. the best ive had is 1400 from gary at need to insure, thats just to much... i got a quote on my escos with them aswel and that was 2500.. no way am i paying that..

 

i was paying £400 fully comp at 25 with performance direct all mods declared it was two years ago mind
im paying £500 now on a stage 3 3door cossie now with adrian flux

 

yeah thats at 25 tho botters.. ive got another 7 months till im 25, even need to insure said they'll get it loads cheaper then..

Also, the guy on the phone was really friendly. He asked me if I had a link to any forums the car is on so I sent him here and that gave me a discount, then he saw my restoration thread and classed me as an "enthusiast" which dropped it a bit more.

yeah i second aplan im with them now. first car nasty area everyone quoting me 1500 to 2500 on a festa 1.25 aplan 1280 fully comp. they ask for a deposit then spread the cost over 9 month instead of 12
