I jus overtook a learner in a 30mph on a 3 lane stretch of road (the middle lane used to overtake vehicles going up the hill, so i was ok to use it)

However, i decided to overtake the car in front of that aswell, (accelareting in 2nd at the time, so car was really loud) and i didnt notice the police car coming towards me (down the hill)

He put his flashing lights on and stopped in his lane but i kept going up the hill.... he's bound to hav got my reg number so i'm expectin to hear off them


So wot do i do? Shall i deny speeding but admit i remember the incident or play totally dumb and say i have no idea wot their on about??

In my favour i'm certain the policeman was in the car on his own, it was a panda car so he wudnt hav any speed measuring equipment and how can he accurately judge my speed if i'm driving in the opposite direction to him?

My worry is that they will try and do me for failing to stop. Wot do u think?

They cant do you for failing to stop there as no court would view that as correctly asking you to stop.

So deny failing to stop, and say that although you remember overtaking the car you couldnt possibly comment on your speed now as you dont remember, and can you please see whatever evidience they have to suggest you were speeding as its your belief you wouldnt have been.

Dont worry about it, if they didnt stop you at the time they cant do shit.

Even if they come round and try and say your gonna get done for this and that, deny everything, just say you dont know what they on about, you wasnt there.

It wont even make court 99% of time, and if will, you wont get done.

They may not get you for speeding, but they could try and force some form of dangerous driving or some shit if they was really bothered. Or maybe contact the learner driver school and get them to act as a witness.

My advice is hunt down the learner, instructor, and police officer, and kill them all, then no witnesses.

I wouldnt worry about it BUT you should learn to be more patient if your behind a learner driver - remember, you were a learner once.

There is no problem.. you should overtake as quickly as possible and return to the correct lane.. and you did...
Atleast.. thats what they learn us in Holland in drivingschool..

Dont worry about especially seeing as you never got pulled over.

It too much time and effort for the officer to carry out any inquiries into something like that esp as he has no evidence
