cosworth engine builders/modifiers

jtech saff bought a new oil pump from a company supplied by cosworth joe at bluesprint handles these pumps between the machinist and cosworth. cosworth recalled these pumps but two where never returned one of them was jtechsaffs.this pump saw full pressure and blew the filter of whats this got to do with joe?if youve got something to say jtech why not say it and stop beating bout the bush.

First post a classic...............ABC the guy is saying that he brought a car with an engine he belived to be from Bluesprint in it. based on the fact he had receipts and was told by the previous owner that it was done by Bluesprint, are we not to trust people that we buy cars fro these days if so why advatise that it has had any mods done to it if your not meant to beleive him, I had a Harvey Gibbs engine in my old rst it went bang, not there fault i beleive this was built by them based on receipts i had and research (asked people that know the car) does that make me full of shit
I can see that you like Joe and respect his work but please change the tune when people have something less then positive to say about the guy, it is after all freedom of speech

mine aint coopers ringed
. infact my first engine was cooper rings and a wills triple layer gasket. it produced 379bhp on the rollers and i thought it was an ok build. afterall i used a very reputable company that has been around for a long time however when i got my new engine from abc/joe i gave them my old one as they had sold it on, part of abcs preps on there cars and engines i believe is to give them a "freshen up and new headgasket" to be on the safe side well when they took my old lump apart it had a fucked gasket even with the coopers rings the valves had been hitting the piston the piston had been bashing the head and this was on a 1500 mile engine as i say from a very reputable company. and i hate to say it but i think danny ended up scrapping the engine at his huge loss.so as others have said its all about opinions and i personally would use abc any time and also bluesprint any time as i have found them to be very helpful even with the after care and have so far not heard any stories that worry me in the slightest.
infact i read in one of the ford mags about a reputable compant who i wont mention as i have no right but there engines were going bang so they took apart ones that haddent and found lumps of swarf in the sump. now i defo wont be going there
Bloody hell, no wonder its broken down, its got Bluesprint on the back of it, that'll be coopers rings and a shoddy rebuild, like i say, i have had no dealings with Joe and can only say what people tell me
