Default Gearbox... help!

one of our welders has a cobra with a 3ltr capri engine fitted and he has knackered the gearbox...
he runs the 4 speed capri v6 box which is jumping out of gear..
he insists on replacing this with one of the same spec-does anyone know where he could get a re-con box?
he says its the one without the external rails....
any ideas?... they are getting rare now..

Christ Wayne, what does he want one of those shonky old truck 'boxes for?

There's a 1000-miles-from-rebuild Type-9 V6 box in Corby he can have for a pint or two, or if he really wants a four-speed try Martin and Terry at Car Clinic on 01254 775845, or Martin at Capri Gear (geddit?) 01507 343148.
