Default MY DYNO FIGURES

Hi

My engine was Dynoed today at Norris Designs. I will give the figures & a few thoughts on the day, full results etc will be posted later.
Mark had promised 600bhp/500ft/lb with the probable help of race fuel.
That was not required & on Pump Fuel (Optimax) it made 613.8bhp & 507.8ft/lb this was achieved with 32psi of Boost. Higher Boost was not tried because Mark/Simon agreed we had hit the 'sweet spot' so the champagne was broken out or in this case tea.
The use of Optimax was verified by two non madette personel , who i expect will post when they read this.
The car is jetted to run 150shot of Nitrous , which Mark pointed out meant 764bhp in the car on pump fuel at all times .

We then moved on to the race fuel, which made gains in Torque & horsepower & saw 600+ way past 7.5k. The gains were not spectacular however & for totb3 Mark declared 764 enough (pussy) . However a future Topspeed attempt may see us using the ' hard stuff'.

Would be interesting to see what both cars can do. Was going to suggest a grudge match feature but i think both cars deserve full features and a place on the cover.
We would of course be happy to time both cars when you are ready for a feature.

Dingy
It made 600 at 6.2k & was still 608 at 7.5k(race fuel)) where the graph stops ,think the limiter will be at 8k, cant give Power above 7.5 as it aint on the graph. Im down from the clouds now so remove 'way past ' .

Danny, wont be using race fuel, as the figures were made on pump fuel.
Mark has the fuel if we require it for a future Topspeed event.
Thanks for the offer.

Thanks lee, im just proud to join you over 600brake, was sweating a bit on the final run as your figure was obviously the Target, had to wait for the figure as it was hard to tell in the flurry of numbers, bit close though.
Should now make totb as Mark will not be leaving my house till its finished. .

Whats the latest position with your engine ?.
Just require fuel rail, inlet fitting, exhaust fitting and ECU and she'll be a runner again As for spec I've took a step back for a couple of months, internally the engine has it all but it's on a T34 for now so 400hp area I guess, but I also has a big nitrous tune up of which I might post pics later

Will be good to see your car in action soon then

Rod,
Fantastic! Any chance of posting all the figures at all the rpm increments, as you know nowadays, I'm just as interested in driveability as out right power ( - comes with age ).
