This will be achieved on Nitrous a 150shot may well produce 150ft/lb Torque, we shall see.

From 4200rpm to 4300 the torque goes up 100 ibft and the bhp goes up 90! How can it do that? Just curious,though it would be good to see the boost figures aswell.

Dingy all the best companant manufactors IMO are used in my engine biulds and are given the design brief of what I want to achive spec,s,strengh,then I aprove the companants then they are made.

Not being funny at all, just asking as designing a new crank rods pistons cams and head is some work, where as specing these up to an engineer is different that's all.

I know rods engine has taken along time but would take one man years to design all that IMHO...

Its good to have have good strong components in the engine tho

so they are custom parts, or off the shelf parts? as in, you say i want a crank with this stroke, etc etc, or they have a variety alreadyand you choose which one you want to use?

none of the parts used are of the self else the engine inc mine wud have finshed along time ago.

Not if you know what you are doing. Alot of it can be worked out on paper first, ie, if ideal this and ideal that, then using solidworks a model can be made of the component, about 1-2 hours for a crank say, then the program can test it for strength there and then made using CNC machinery that uses the same model from solidworks anyway. plus you can even make a fully working engine in the program, which is pretty cool This is what I've done on my course, just don't get to make the stuff

1. Welcome to the 600bhp club I think we will have lots of company soon as well mate!
2. Flattered you saw my figure as a target but its a bit strange as I know my engine was a relative budget build compared with yours!
3. My engine was still making more power and at 7500rpm had not gone over the top. We weren't chasing numbers and if we were it would have been easy to have revved it a bit more or chucked in a bit more booooooost (apart from me pooing my pants!)

All the best getting the car together for TOTB mate! Lock Mark in the garage and deprive him of sleep until its done
