Pretty mental on optimax

With the 150 shot can see you having clutch problems again before TOTB if the tyres stick!

Here are a couple of pics of the engine in the dyno room.

Air filter being taller than Rod (standing in the background for comparison purposes). LOL

Thanks - Sunny.

Rod,
Well what are you doing posting on here then - get back in that garage - you've got a deadline to meet! Did you stick with the T61?

Sunny,
Get on the case and put those figures up!

We have a problem....my scanner is broke and I done sicky from work as I was too knackered to go in therefore I had to take pictures of the figures and graph using my digital camera hence appologies for the lack of quality.

Thanks - Sunny.

Very pleased for you Rod.

It's been a while coming, but with the power and the diff in place, you should do well at TOTB - best of luck and congrats

What ever happened to 'Race fuel is cheating'

Remember me and Martin have done speeds on pump fuel, so you need to beat that

Well done chaps

Another nail in the coffin for the rice grinders.

I nearly came over yesterday to watch as I only live up the road from Norris Designs.
But I hear there was a very large audience anyway.

All that power in a rear wheel drive saff - FOOOKINNNNELLLLLL

Hey Rod,
Its amazing what you can do these days with MODERN technology.
I here that there is a software upgrade for your ecu that allows the car to drive itself.
This will give Mark a chance to enter his own car for TOTB !

Figures look good . Just puzzled about a few things .

Why isn't the barometric pressure on the print out?

Why isn't the dyno cell temperature readings on the print-out (which corrects the power)?

What the fuck is going on with the lamda readings?

Where the hell is that filter going to fit (and how much council tax do you have to pay on it )?

Can I please have a ride (pref with Mark driving ) ?

Mike - the lamba sensor was hooked up to the autronic and not the dyno cell... it's not rocket science to know what he's mapping it to.

Regards to the barometric pressure, AFAIK Simon will be printing off some more figures with this and boost pressure etc.

Bruce - the dyno graph and figures are based on Optimax pump fuel mate (613.8bhp & 507.8ft/lb with 32psi).

Also just to add - was good to meet you again Simon, Nick, Spencer and the other lads.

Thanks - Sunny.

Mike , we are all still laughing about the filter, f**k knows if its going to fit, will find out very soon .
If you want a ride Mike ,just ask, its probably safer with Mark unless you can use a resus kit , when i have a heart attack .

Very well done Rod, I remember when 500bhp was considered proper mental power, but 600bhp + thats awesome 700+ though wow, that is gonna need some spare under pants to drive that!!! and RWD
