ive had thet on the xr4 had a puller on them, the disks just snapped, had to put them on a press in the end, one popped off at 25 tons

After all the bashing and abuse, i changed the wheel bearings as a precaution

Go back and hit them harder! There were bits missing from mine by the time they let go!

I had to go and buy a bigger hammer in the end!

I do this on most sets of brakes that dont come off, these include the fronts off a Focus and the rears off a Lexus.

But try putting a scissor jack between the disc and the suspension strut. Then just prise it open. You might need something similiar to a scaffolding bar to make the jack turn with its handle but it'l do the trick.

try putting a plank of wood, all be it short bit of wood across the length of the disc then bang that! it worked for me before. Think because it have more pressure over a wider area

or try lowering it down slowly, so the weight of the car is on it, may break the seal
