Default We're back from Florida and i have a geeky question

As everyone knows DisneyWorld is full of big rides and simulators...

If anyone who has been on Mission:Space @ Epcot will know what i am talking about but on it they simulate G-Force and, in all honesty, its the most G-Force i have ever felt in my life, so its not just psychological...

My question is: How do they simulate G-Force without it actually moving from a fixed spot?

Florida was full of old people in the year or so I spent working out of Port Canaveral...............

Even the security guards were about 900 years old. Like Yoda....................

Hi all. Mission space in Epcot is based on a centrifuge like the type of thing fighter jet pilots are train to withstand G forces in. It has 8 carrages based around a central hub. Each carrage can pivot to different angles ... this changes the feelin of the G force throught your body. The faster it spins the harder your puched into your seat. when it eases off you feel weightless.

Awsome ride aint it !!!!

it spins round a centre point, but you can't tell theres any side movement coz your eyes can't see it so your brain doesn't register it against the centrigual force!

its pretty cool, i felt well rough when i got off!! i was the engineer as i recall
that test track one is cool too

May is the best time to go, we went and it was really hot but zero rain and no hurricane risk also its dead, the most we queued for any ride was Jaws at universal about 35 minutes. Everything else was either 5 minutes or straight on

Kracken is the best at seaworld IMO - wished i'd have gone busch gardens though

Last time i went it was may, it was Spring Break tho, so it was busy but not as busy as the last two weeks..

The rock and roller coaster was one of the best for me, Kracken wasnt running when we was at sea world on Tuesday... But Journey to Atlantis is ACE!!! and them Splash Gysers, where you can splash people as they come out of the drop are the best, could have stayed there all day splashing people!!!

Anyone been on the new ride at Busch Gardens?

That is something else, especially if you get to the top whilst the thing is still wobbling about.

Stopping 200Ft up and looking straight down, just waiting for them to release the thing!

Sign up for the beer school in the hospitality area.

I did it a few years back, and came out legless.

In Sea World, there is a huge bar behind the free beer pumps, and they let you sample the beer there before going for the presentation. In the presentation we had another 7 bottles.
I didn't know this, so I knocked a load back at the bar, and was wrecked. We had to stay until midnight just to let me sober up.
