Default Anyone here own a Lotus Elise???

as my Escort is now sold

was just wondering if people can show me some pics of the engine bay, and some of the bonnet up.

basically looking to see what storage space they have

also what sort of fuel economy they get.

dont panic, i 'm not worried what it is, just curiuos to what it actually is

the hunt for a blue Elise has now started

only mod will be oil cooler, remote thermostat and exige slicks

I've driven a few.

I absolutely love em!

They "feel" slow in a straight line after stepping out of a cossie, because:

a) they are
b) the lack of turbo means there's no torque wave you can ride on when accelerating gently.

However, it's still a gorgeous looking car, roof off when the sun's out, handles like you simply wouldn't believe.

I don't know what you'll think of it, as your last car was mutli-coloured, so it's very possible you have impaired judgement

As standard the boot comes carpeted but if you remove it you can get loads more in there.

will admit i think it's gonna be slow compared, but i guess i'll get used to it

and going from having turbo cars for the last 8 years to a NA is gonna be weird

but they do look stunning

as standard they have a little more space than the one pictured as the air box is on the l/h/s of the engine bay...
get loads of stuff in them with the roof off though!!
they are a bit slow but they defo make up for it in the corners
If only it had another 200 bhp it would be awesome

After being used to your cossie, you will think that burglars have been popping round in the night and putting petrol IN to the car
