Default DEFLEX BUSHES S2 TURBO any body had probs fitting them??

Ive bought a set of deflex bushes for my car , i have just started to build up the front end and found that the front anti rollbar bushes seem loose and the inserts for the outer tca bushes dont go on.
im dreading doing the rearend .....

didnt have a problem with mine at all. although i havent done the rear wishbone yet

all mine went on great

but the only probs so far ive had is the either the rear small wishbones or inner tca ones werent in the kit

so never bothered doing them

mine are like yours but once clamped there fine

also what roll bar are you using as the rst is bigger to normal escort

yeah its the 24mm rollbar but when its bolted up seems as though theirs a bit of play.

duno then mate as im using the std xr roll bars i think thats the 24mm with rst bushes and not a problem at all

did you cut the slits in the roll bar bushes to get them round

i never as i take the roll bars of to fit them

could be something to do with how you have put them on

no not cut em , ive took it off n slid em on.
ill have to see wot its like on the road i, it mite be ok but the old ones where shot at n wouldnt pass a MOT...

All mine were shit (were fitted to a mk4 XR3i, but apart from not having a rear ARB, same fitting kit)

The front ARM ones were complete shite - completely the wrong fit and kept popping out, which caused the car to lose all direction control and lurch everywhere - not what you want at nearly a ton on the M1 is it

The rear bottom bushes were shit and flexed more than the standard rubber ones

The rear inner wishbone ones were so poxy I took em out and refitted standard ford ones

I never bothered to fit the steering rack ones and suspension top mounts after that little lot

at least there stuff seems to work.

honsilty mate i refuse to fit them
biggest pipe of none fitting shite i have ever come across
sleave wrong sizes roll bars wrong size
ya get what ya payed for i guess
poly sport or power felx evey time

I've fitted a set and seem to fit ok-ish. However, they felt very soft and I wonder if the standard rubber ones would provide a charper handling car...

seems its a 50/50 some good n sum bad , im just waiting for new sleeves at min for outer tca bushes then i can start the rear n see how bad thats gona be...

got outer tca bush inserts , now ive just got to try n fit them n see if i have any more problems....
