Back from TOTB IV.......
cracking day 
bit cold to start off but got warmer in the afternoon 
Cant remember any times
apart from keith cowie winning the 4wd class doing at 9.3 1/4 mile 
Feel gutted for rod tarry, he had a good start off the line but something went wrong and he could finish the 1/4 mile and retired

I couldnt beleive it when that 2nd rac van parked up pmsl...nothing like customer service...but Stu drove his car home so its all good top job by the guys one of them even pursuaded me to buy bloody cover, how, i will never no....

Didn't queue at all, but then again, we had to get there for 7:15am!
Trying to get however many cars it was into a two-lane entrance isn't easy, and there've been queues every year (pretty sure this year was the worst, though, was told the queues went all the way back to the A64 roundabout at one point).
The cars were moving through our marshall-point (pit-lane entrance) quite smoothly (most of the time), but we were getting them in groups from the payment-entrance, rather than constant-flow, and then later on in the day, the queue to park started to back-up right to the entrance for an hour or so......don't know what was happening up by the public/club parking, but I'm guessing it was just sheer amount of cars.

OR,you could try gettin up a little earlier you lazy gets!!! i queued for 5 mins MAX! woke up at 4 o bloody clock to get there tho!!! and for whoever runs the show,CAN YOU PLEASE PUT SIGNPOSTS UP FOR THE EVENT A LITTLE FURTHER AWAY THAN 10 YARDS FROM THE GATE??? IT IS THE WORST SIGNED EVENT I HAVE EVER BEEN TO!!

We've got a list of suggestions for next year (including finding a way to try to get cars off the main road and on-site more quickly), I'll add it to that......any more, drop me a PM (since there's already about 4 TOTB topics so far, bound to be more springing up over the next few days).

dan,cheers,as long as its on the list!!!i get lost EVERY year cos im not "local" so dont know where it is!! autoroute says,arrive elvington,eh?bollox!we got to some country bumpkin place! and there was a bus last year which was free,and deffo a good idea for future events

more seating would be really good, needs it for sure, and a better road surface for driving to and from the car park area's, pothole's galore!!
