Default what plugs are people using in there zetec turbo's?

just thoughti would stick a post up to see whatplugs have been try'd and tested

its done about 1500 miles now but never going over 4500 rpm and 6psi on a rough map thrown togeather so i can drive it using standard spark plugs

me and my tuner was having a chat about plugs and we decided to give the rolling road sesh a miss becuse we didnt want bits of melted spark plugs blying through me spanking new turbo

so what spark plugs will do the job?

cheers

Not going to help you much (so not sure why I'm writing this ), but my bruv has this conversion on his S2 RST, and Karl Norris IIRC machined the head so that Cossie plugs can be used, as back when my bro had this conversion done Zetec turbo plugs were unheard of.

He now has the choice of all the Cossie plugs (ie PP8, NGK9, 071, C57s etc)

From the sounds of things your engine is all built up, but if the head is ever off this may be an option for you if you get little joy on the Zetec plugs.

Hopefully someone can help you on those....

bit off topic but what boost and C/R does a focus RS use to make its std torque/bhp?

my engine is a high comp 9:1 and will run a bar of boost when mapped to i think there going to have a hard time in my engine
