SERIOUS BIDS OFF £14,000 AND OVER PLEASE NO TIME WASTERS THE CAR WILL NOT BE SOLD FOR LESS THAN THIS FIGURE
I'd question him through Ebay whether he can do that without putting an actual reserve on it.

If he's just done it to save himself the 5p (or whatever) reserve fee then he's a tight 'un

Bidding early or late sometimes makes no difference.

People will drop out at their own level no matter if it has 5 days to go - or 10 minutes to go. You only chance your arm at grabbing a bargin by not bidding early. And at 14k + that looks no bargin to me

My thoughts exactly - mind you he can easily end it early and claim he found a buyer.

A Reserve price costs the seller a lot more than 5p if the item sells.

I was only bidding on it because I was bored. I don't want an Auralis one!

Didn't expect to be the highest bidder! I just wondered what the situation was as he hadn't put a reserve on, but I suppose as you say he can always end the auction early. Can you end the auction in the last 24 hrs though? As that's when the majority of bids are likely to come in, just a thought.

No, but you can cancel all bids, doesn't mean someone won't bid in the last few seconds though...
