ive had enough, lol
my poor car wont start , the spark is ultra weak, but the battery is brand new, ive run out of ideas, anyone able to help a noob ?

it was running perfectly fine , ive only tested the one lead , i hope it is the coil and nothing major , im now stuffed as i cant get a coil on a sunday
.
anyone know how i can test the actual coil ?

the plugs are all new , ive just changed the coil AND ITS THE SAME
my car wont start , although its trying its best , i think the looms no good,tbh.

Ok im losted then whot 4x4 loom is it and why ? have you used it on the conversion

I was going to say if it was cossie it could have been the Phase sensor but the cvh done run the same dizzy

mine does , i have half cossie and half escort dizzy , it was on the car when i got it , im just an average guy thats learning as i go

im sure it wont be nothing much as you have had it running and working so i would assume it is either a sensor out of place setup etc... or one of the sensors or relays could be foobarbed

I thought the headlights were on two white relays on the mk4 (?)
Chris - I think you need to do the old RTFM (read the fooking manual), check absolutely everything you can, ie: work out what it's not and see if it shortens the list in any way and go from there
I know Escorts can melt/burn fuse boxes out so check the box is good for a start
Failing that, a match and a gallon of petrol works really well
