how can you trademark the word ZERO?
surely it'd be like trademarking the word THE or THERE or something?

Think they have the trademark on the poduct.
Stops someone else developing the same product and giving it the same name.
You can give the same name to a totally different product though.

you bellend. the trademark applies to the whole phrase, not just the word at the end that has the symbol by it. 
we haven't heard anything from zeroshift for a while. wonder how the t5 boxes are coming along, and when we'll get a demonstration in a cossie turbo powered car.
