no, that's not bizarre mate. Cause what all bikers agree on, is that Max Biaggi has the cleanest and most impressive riding of all MotoGP riders. (style, trajectories, etc. Very sweet and precise) It's sure Rossi is better than Max, we all know this, but this does not prevent Max from having been 4 times World champion, and the first ever 500 GP rider to win his FIRST EVER race on a 500, 20 seconds ahead of Mick Doohan. That's not what you could call bad, actually... i think it's a bit quick to treat ppl as pricks, like this. I personnaly met Biaggi 3 times, as I live near Monaco, and he really can't be called a prick, in any way. Seeing the way Sete behaves, i seriously think it's him that is ridiculous now, rather than Max. Then it's up to everyone to like or dislike someone, but this is a bit quick to treat ppl pricks, IMHO. that's all !

I seriously think that Doohan would have lost against Rossi, too. Doohan could lose against Criville, against Biaggi, against Cadalora from time to time. Doohan was a god, but Rossi is simply unbeatable, he is far above everyone... When Rossi is beaten, it's just an error, it's not normal...

If you took away Max's arrogence, Sete's temper, McCoys sliding it round bends & Rossi's magic
It'll be boring!

Now if hes not getting results which he hasnt for a while now its always the Bikes fault and not him , he doesnt have the techincal ability to go back to Erv and say " Hey I think we need ....... "

that's 100% true Deano. You are fookin true on this one, and i perfectly agree. Max is a very bad "set up" person for bikes, he does not know how to solve probs, when Rossi is a great developing rider. Max has always lacked this, and that's why he won't be MotoGP champion. If the bike is 100% perfect, he's unbeatable, just like Rossi. If his fork chatters (as it seems to be the problem since a few GP) or something else, his brain starts to lose the race before it has actually started

And thats why as long as hes riding Vale will always be the one to beat ,
However that said .................... Give Marco Melandri another year or 2 and he will be the one to challenge Rossi properly

I don"t know. Don't forget he is also older than before, and he learnt to be humble in front of Rossi. Remember the 250 time, when Max crushed everyone. He was funny as fook at the end of the races, just like Rossi. He did exactly the same kind of show at the end of GPs... but then, he was younger, and did not have many worries. He became arrogant after his first season in 500 (in which he finished 2nd overall for the first season BTW, not that bad either... ) and he became frustrated to be always second, behind Doohan, then behind Rossi, then behind Gibernau last season (even if i think it was an error, Biaggi will now always be before Gibernau at the end of seasons, i'm 100% sure about this...)

Melandri will sure become a very serious contender in a very short time. that does not make any doubt
Don't forget, also, that they all are Italian. i'm also French from the south, 2 hours from Italy, and i'm Latin. I fully understand their temper, their proudness, and all those things that can disturb peeps that are not used to. They are just like this, it's the Latin way of being... it can be annoying for others, but it does not make us bad persons !!!
